Traverse City's Best Festivals.The TC Winter Microbrew Music Festival will kick off the Cherry Capital Winter WonderFest, a weekend-long festival scheduled for February 12-14 featuring three days of activities at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, downtown Traverse City, Mt. Holiday Ski & Recreation Area for more details. The TC Winter Microbrew & Music Festival will take place outdoors next to the Resort's Clubhouse and on The Bear golf course. Guests will step out of the lodge into a winter wonderland featuring the main brew tent with live music from an eight piece "Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk" dance band from Fort Collins, CO, the rockabilly honky-tonk of Delilah DeWylde and the Lost Boys, local favorites Levi-Britton and Rachael Davis Josh Davis with members of Steppin' In It, DJ Dominate, West African Drumming Ensemble, Tree Of Life, Poi Fire Twirlers and the bagpipes and drum ensemble of GT Pipes and Drums. Bonfires and free sleigh rides will encircle a frozen winter pond surrounded by a 150-foot lighthouse snow fortress and two tents showcasing over 40 craft beer, mead and hard cider breweries from the Midwest and beyond. Special events and activities will be featured throughout the night.
